This may seem like a trick question but it is not. You might be thinking well, I want both. That is great you can have both but I am going to shock right now and tell you do not really want to be successful and wealthy. You might be thinking to yourself this guy is crazy. Of course, I want to be successful and wealthy; I got a mortgage, bills, I want to take a few vacations, blah, blah, blah,. Wonderful, at least you are clear on what it is that you want now. However, you still do not really want all of those things you just said. Let me ask you, why do you want those things? You might think “Well, I will live a worry-free life. I will be free to do what I want to do. I will be happy”. BINGO. You will be happy. Now, let me ask you if having success and wealth and whatever else you like do not make you happy would you want it? Probably not. Precisely, so what we all really want is to be happy. Now, I know you might thinking “Well I still want the success and wealth though”. Great, realize though, happiness is what creates those things in your experience. Now let’s examine the whole concept of happiness and how it creates for us in the next paragraph.
